Why Bergeggi?
The train cave
The train cave

In 1870 the excavation of the railway tunnel through the promontory of Bergeggi uncovered by chance this karstic cave that has a development of over 400 meters.

With a guided tour of about an hour and a half, you can explore a portion of the complex system of tunnels, shafts and halls which make up the cave; an experienced guide will accompany you all through this real journey to the center of the earth, equipped with helmets with front lights.

It will be the opportunity for you to discover one of the spectacular expressions of nature and of the history of man, who always shapes the land he lives in; you can enjoy in safety the magical experience of seeing the cave as it appeared to the eyes of the first explorers in 1800: a dark and still world, full of charm and mystery.
